1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application or purchasing a membership with Designed to Roam (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not submit an application or make a purchase.

2. Membership

Designed to Roam offers a membership-based community for location-independent entrepreneurs, couples, and families. Membership grants access to:

• Your matched travel group and group communication
• Curated stay details and property access information
• The Designed to Roam community network and map
• Travel resources and guides

Membership is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your account credentials with others.

3. Application Process

Submitting an application does not guarantee membership. We review applications and match members into cohorts based on travel dates, preferences, and compatibility. We reserve the right to decline any application at our discretion.

4. Subscription & Billing

Membership is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the applicable billing cycle.

• Founding Member pricing is locked in for the lifetime of your active subscription.
• Prices may increase for new subscribers or for accounts that cancel and resubscribe.
• All prices are in USD.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to member features until that date.

6. Refund Policy

All membership fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will not receive a prorated refund for unused days. We may issue refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.

7. Community Code of Conduct

As a member of the Designed to Roam community, you agree to:

• Treat all community members with respect and professionalism
• Not harass, threaten, or discriminate against other members
• Not share confidential member information (addresses, contact details) outside the platform
• Represent your business and travel intentions honestly during the application process
• Comply with local laws in all destinations you visit

Violations of this code may result in immediate membership termination without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Designed to Roam platform — including text, images, and software — is the property of Designed to Roam or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Designed to Roam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or participation in any trip or community event. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email.
