About Designed To Roam

We'd both experienced how hard it is to pull off "live and work abroad" in real life. Coordinating friends, finding a place that fits everyone's budget, lining up timelines, and wondering if you'll actually vibe with the people you're living with — it's usually enough friction that the trip never happens.

At the same time, we'd seen how powerful it is when a small group of ambitious, values‑aligned people shares a home base for a month or more. Your work gets better, your ideas get bigger, and your lifestyle feels lighter. But there wasn't a simple way to design those experiences on purpose.

Design To Roam exists to fix that gap. We're building a lightweight way for entrepreneurs, remote workers, and families to intentionally design where and with whom they live — without having to quit their jobs, plan everything from scratch, or gamble on random co‑living situations.
